Our First Date

How We Met

Well, unlike most couples, Jon and Mandy didn't really have a first date. Their story is one of a great friendship that grew into love. Jon and Mandy met while attending the same High School. Jon was a junior, and Mandy a sophomore. They became friends throughout the months of scholastic bowl games, and continued there relationship into the summer. It was that summer when Jon first asked Mandy if she would be interested in dating (July 8, 2000, to be exact). They continued dating for the duration of High School and college (both attended Southern Illinois University Edwardsville), and always talked about getting married after school was over with, which brings us to the present.
